1 (THU) NEPAL According to reports, local officials accept bribes to allow the trafficked girls to India. Rescued girls or those who have escaped have few options so they return to India or work in the Nepali sex industry. Pray for pure lives for Nepali women.
2 (FRI) NEPAL Pray for the 16 Bhote tribe orphans in Nepal under our co-worker’s care as he raises them up and guides them in His ways.
3/4 (SAT/SUN) BHUTAN Praise God for the move of the Holy Spirit among the youth of Bhutan. Over 100 joined the youth conference in June. Pray that they will go deeper in their relationship with God.
5 (MON) NE INDIA Many women from NE India who live in Delhi become easy target of racial discrimination and sexual harassment. Pray for justice and protection for these women.
6 (TUE) PAKISTAN According to an independent study, the Al-Qaeda and the Taliban have killed up to 168 children in Pakistan over the last 7 years. Pray for the lives and the future of the children in Pakistan.
7 (WED) PAKISTAN There are 184 children enrolled in our learning centers. Pray for the salvation of these little children. May the Lord raise them up to be witnesses of God’s love.
8 (THU) SRI LANKA Traditional Sri Lankan beliefs about spirits and devils remain strong among its people. Pray that they can find the One True Living God.
9 (FRI) MALDIVES The government has expressed a desire to honor human rights and freedom, but this does not include freedom of religion. Non-Muslims cannot become citizens of the Maldives. Pray for the revelation of Jesus Christ among Muslims.
10/11 (SAT/SUN) BANGLADESH
This year’s Bangladesh Prayer Conference will be held this month. 250 participants from different parts of the country are expected to attend. Pray for the presence of God and His anointing over the gathering.
12(MON) BANGLADESH Floods are affecting 13 districts in the country with more than 1.25 million people affected. Pray for enough supply of relief to those in dire need.
13 (TUE) MYANMAR According to reports, the Burmese authorities use rape as a terror tactic against the Shan Army. Pray that it will soon be stopped and pray also for comfort and healing for the victims.
14 (WED) MYANMAR Floods in Pegu city, near Yangon left about 4,000 people displaced. Pray for sufficient relief to the flood victims. Pray that the churches will unite and extend their hands to them.
15 (THU) KAREN REFUGEE CAMPS
Severe floods hit Mae Ra Moe Camp and destroyed about 400 houses and schools. Pray for the distribution of relief aid and the repair of the damaged infrastructures. Pray also for strength and courage of the people. |
16(FRI) KAREN REFUGEE CAMPS The ‘T4C’ (Teens for Christ) youth conference will take place next month. 250 young people, ages 13-19 are expected to attend. Pray for the touch of the Holy Spirit and a fresh anointing upon these new generation of leaders.
17/18 (SAT/SUN) CAMBODIA Three Cambodian church workers are in the MBS (Ministerial Bible School) in Thailand. Pray that God will raise up more workers for the harvest in this nation.
19 (MON) CAMBODIA Cambodian maids overseas remain in a condition of modern day slavery. Pray for God’s protection over them. Pray that His people will reach out to them and show them God’s love.
20 (TUE) VIETNAM The first Deborah training for tribal women leaders will be held this month. About 40 women are expected to attend. Pray as they are being equipped for ministry.
21 (WED) VIETNAM An attack in July against tribal Christians living in the central highlands left 16 people severely injured, the youngest victim was a 13-year old girl. Pray for protection of tribal Christians against unjust authorities.
22 (THU) LAOS A strong typhoon caused severe flooding in the whole country. Many villages are still under water. Our Harvest Center was also affected. Pray for relief and recovery of the land.
23 (FRI) LAOS Praise the Lord for the release of a brother who was falsely accused and imprisoned for over 3 months. Pray for wisdom and guidance as he returns to his family and ministry.
24/25 (SAT/SUN) LAOS After the local authorities ordered to stop a group of believers from putting up their church building, they still continue to worship the Lord in a tent. Pray for wisdom and guidance for the pastor and leadership of the church.
26 (MON) CHINA The 1st SOWH (School of Workers for the Harvest) training for the Nosu tribal people was held last month. Pray for all the participants to continue to reach their people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
27 (TUE) CHINA Many house churches throughout China are in need of Bibles. Pray as we continue to provide Bibles and that every bible distribution will make a great impact in peoples’ lives.
28 (WED) TIBET Radio broadcast and even the internet become useful tools to reach out to people in Tibet. Pray that through our faithfulness in sharing, the Gospel will open the door of freedom for Tibet.
29 (THU) NORTH KOREA The government practices collective punishment, which results in an offender’s parents, spouse, children, and even grandchildren also being sent to a forced labor camp. Pray for the people to remain strong under hardship. Pray for God’s mercy.
30 (FRI) NORTH KOREA Though the Korean peninsula has long been divided, the dream of reunification and peace is not forgotten. Pray for God’s restoration of peace between them. May God rule and reign in this place. |
